We're all different in what we value and how we process — my job is to hold space for authenticity, trust, and organic growth.
Most recently, I worked with high schoolers in the San Mateo Union High School District and Sequoia Union High School District. It's this world, and the chapter that follows — young adulthood, ages 18–25 — that I love most.
I've also worked at the Women's Enrichment Center (StarVista), an intensive outpatient program for women in substance use recovery, and at Prenatal to Three (San Mateo County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services), supporting mothers and children from in vitro through age five. Empowering women is a driving passion of mine, in and out of the therapy room.
My counseling journey began as a hotline volunteer at San Francisco Suicide Prevention, and supporting people through suicidality and self-harm has remained part of my work ever since. Bringing calm and compassion to people in crisis is one of my callings.
I identify as Asian American and especially welcome others who share that identity, alongside the Latino/a and LGBTQIA+ communities I've loved working alongside. I'm not affiliated with any religious organization, but I deeply respect clients of all faiths and welcome exploring the connection between spirituality and mental health. I also bring personal and professional experience navigating (online) dating, relationships, and single life.
